I married into the Stein family in 1987. My mother-in-law invited me into her kitchen and I learned from a master how to feed a crowd. I’ve been helping her do just that for over 25 years.

Talking with the Stein brothers always brings reminiscences about food, and they are very fond of remembering the food they grew up with. I began capturing those family favorites, the recipes the boys remember, and the stories around them.

My husband and I are planning to spend 2015 cooking through the collection, one recipe a week, remembering and recreating Mom’s cooking.  We hope you’ll join us on the journey.
